Kumsan is the home of Koryo Ginseng and 80% of the nation's supply of ginseng is produced here. This health festival features various products made with Kumsan ginseng. Ginseng and other medicinal herbs can be has at low prices and visitors can participate in the ginseng harvest or get a free medical exam. This festival is popular with families and young couples.
